Handcrafted Oregon Grown Natural Spinning Batts - Alpaca and Romney Wool 50g
Discover the essence of Oregon with our exclusive hand-crafted spinning batts, a luxurious blend of alpaca, Romney wool, and Merino wool. Produced in small batches right here on our farm, each 50g batt is carefully processed by hand to create a soft, textured fiber blend perfect for spinning.
The batt combines 25g of alpaca fiber from our own herd—known for its warmth and lightweight softness—with 18g of resilient Romney woo from Iron Water Ranch, which adds a slight bounce, and 7g of fine Merino wool for that silky smooth finish. The result? A gorgeous heathered yarn that offers depth and richness in every twist.
Two same color batts can be spun together as-is for a beautiful, solid color or mixed and matched with other batts for a custom spin that’s uniquely yours. The versatility of this blend makes it perfect for creating everything from warm scarves to cozy sweaters, all with a naturally heathered look.
We offer this fiber blend in four stunning, earthy colors: Oatmeal, Silver, Mocha, and Charcoal—each representing the natural beauty of the fiber. With limited quantities available, this is a truly special product that you won’t want to miss.

While we do everything that we can during processing to limit vegetation in the fiber, we are only human and these animals are raised in a pasture and like to roll in hay. There may be an occasional piece of vegetable matter in the batts that are easily removed during spinning. No burrs, stickers or foxtails.
